My roommate said --Monkeys are bad people-- when my sister asked him why he was shooting a huge monkey in a video game. It seemed to strike a chord, or series of chords, in my head. So I wrote this song. Don't worry, I like monkeys. I just don't want to get beaten up by one. The harmonica solo in the middle I found on an old tape of harmonica solos. It fit so well.
