I looked through all my junk mail and my trash too, no luck. I just pm'd Fabrice to send again. Now I'm in a hurry since it can be sent over the net.

Yes, TVPaint's internet provider is considered as a spammer for some other provider around the world and emails can be sorted directly as junk/trash/spam depending on your filters...
Sorry for the inconvenience if that happened like it did for Paul.

Yes, I got the codes and filled out the form with them and then it said I should receive the download link, but I haven't yet received it.

Thanks, Fabrice, I'm sure it's on its way.

Since I've received nothing yet, perhaps I just don't understand what to do so my demo becomes a working copy. Is there somewhere in the demo I can click to enter the codes?

Sierra, I think you will receive an invoice and a download link - this happened to me.

Yes, when I put my codes in the form for the download, it just says there is no update for my TVPro. (I just tried it again). I'm probably missing the obvious but I am confused.

It is not a demo link, but a full version link.
So you only have to remove the demo and to install the full version.

But I never got an invoice so maybe I didn't get everything?

Should I uninstall the demo before I try to install the new one when I finally get it?

Edit: I tried again, FWIW, and it turned out to be another demo version. I'll wait til tomorrow and take this up with you again. Thanks. Sierra

I've tossed my hat into the TVPaint ring as well, though I didn't opt for the Pro version. Unless I'm missing something major, the features differences didn't seem to be anything I needed. I tend to do any compositing/lighting effects in AE anyway (where I'm just more comfortable with those types of tools) and, other than the x-sheets, those seemed to be the only real differences.

Norman got the download to work. I must have copied an extra space when I put in the codes. Anyway, hurray!

Sierra, the one thing you could have not discovered on the trial version is the changed system of saving projects. It confused me a little but soon I warmed up to it and now I think it's the best thing ever and appreciate the amount of careful thinking and planning that must have gone into its development.

Basically what it comes down to is that it is very project oriented. If you save your project with the Save Project as Template under File you will not only save everything that you have opened in front of you but all its specific settings. Then get into the habit of opening your projects from the splash screen where they will all be listed.

What happens is that you may have different Picture Palettes or different FX Stack settings particular to each project and once you open it, they are there as you left it, say 10 projects ago.

Very, very cool particularly for people like us who work long term on films with many scenes to which you have to return over and over again.

Yes I underline that: very, very useful.

Thanks to the development-team.
