This is done for an anniversary of the Faculty Of New Media in Flensburg (very north of Germany, trad. shipbuilding and German Navy) .

Wonderful! I think you might have arrived at a style of your own which evolved from you having recently drawn a lot in TVP. I'd love to see this character (or this type of character) brought into motion; scribbles and all. Believe me, it would work since the shading (the scribbles) are mostly limited to touching the outlines, the resulting jerkiness would pass for style and wouldn't be in the least annoying.
If you decide to test this, I recommend that you animate to a sound track. As long as the character follows a music track, or even a dialogue track and remains faithful to the track, the roughness would work out as charming or quirky and not in the least annoying.

I agree. I'm always intrigued by the amorphous faces on some of Klaus' characters. I'm reminded of the frog he used to have as an avatar.
