This only swaps between the oilbrush modes. What I meant is a way to control separately the amount, size, softness and space-between of the grain, because I think that the existing modes are not the way to create well-rendered natural media brushes. For example, I believe that 'bristle' factor control is far more important than the 'light' factor, in the process of building realistic brushes. I think it will be more successful if we had a brush edit panel or more controls right in Tool:Oilbrush panel (even without associating any connection setting with them).Hervé wrote:tv_oilbrush grain 0-3

wow these images are awesome. just love the various textures, and your lovely whimsical doodle-y style. reminds me of the eastern european styles that inspire me. i hope i can absorb some of this brush making technique; i'm still pretty limited to downloading other people's.

I have the same thing, in my sketch books and TVP doodles 90% of the characters are facing left.
Probably has to do with me being right-handed?

I think it's because it's easier to push the nose out (away from your hand) as you draw. If you are right-handed you would have to start by dragging the line from the outside in, towards your hand, which makes it harder to control.
