Andy Warhol on the Amiga
This is kinda interesting, from 1985, Andy Warhol using an Amiga to paint a picture of Deborah Harry (aka Blondie).

Wish it was longer, would like to have seen more of the software in action.

Re: Andy Warhol on the Amiga
This is just a wonderful and strong indictment of the fraud Andrew Warhol was in real life. The man was an absolute narcissist and here he is, caught on camera for posterity in the act of having sex with himself. He makes an accidental spill and is absolutely in love with the moment. "I think I'll keep it that way, yes, I like it" he pronounces as if sharing with the world a generous moment of creative self-revelation. Yes, he understands that accidents happen to us all, but only a genius like the Warhol can recognize the outcome as art, therefore it IS art. He is shown having an intimate moment of pleasure with the crowds he could not live without yet could never face to face with and kept to his back. It felt really good watching the king with no clothes on. He was being laughed at and took it all in as the twittering of adulation -- YouTube at its best. This belongs on such a forum as this one and thanks for uploading the little gem, idra.

Re: Andy Warhol on the Amiga
Unfortunately, yes and still is:Was Andy Warhol ever recognised as anything but a 'Showman' anyway?
Wikipedea:
Andrew Warhola (Rusyn: Андрій Варгола, August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987), more commonly known as Andy Warhol, was an American painter, printmaker, and filmmaker who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became famous worldwide for his work as a painter, avant-garde filmmaker, record producer, author, and public figure known for his membership in wildly diverse social circles that included bohemian street people, distinguished intellectuals, Hollywood celebrities and wealthy aristocrats.
Warhol has been the subject of numerous retrospective exhibitions, books, and feature and documentary films. He coined the expression "15 minutes of fame."

Re: Andy Warhol on the Amiga
Never cared for the man or his art myself... I was more interested in just seeing the software in action and the roots of TVPaint!

Re: Andy Warhol on the Amiga
I met his roots once, his mother, and talked to her for 15 minutes ... my 15 minutes of fame.
