The TVP_Animation_951_Pro_MIR update file is aimed at orphaned Mirage users. I dont understand problems with the older dongles. What are you doing differently with this update???

I had to install my 907 update over the 951... I will wait for answers.

Ditto... had to revert back to the older version... watching Mark's videos has made me really antsy to try the new features!

I'm having the same problem and I'm using the old red Mirage dongle.
Unfortunately I unistalled 9.0 before I realized I was having this issue.
Is there a link to download 9.0 again while this other problem is resolved?
Thanks

So we just need to re-download and re-install?

Revised Update for 9.5 - Mirage version: Successfully installed! Thanks Hervé... Now to see what's new. :D

Two more questions: Will there soon be an addendum or update on 9.5 documentation? And, will there soon be a new SDK?

The appendix is available yet in the software, into the "About => what's new int TVP 9.5" =)

But the documentation will be soon available on the website.

Please try with your unlock code which ends with '-MIR-B2' and its corresponding unlock code.
I test it with your codes, and it works fine to get the 9.5 version from the update page.

Sorry, I'm getting a "file-not-found!" when I press the "what's new in 9.5 version" button. It's looking for whatsnew.pdf - but it's not in the Data directory.

For the moment, you can manually move the 3 files (whatsnew.pdf, french.whatsnew.pdf, japanese.whatsnew.pdf ) from the "storyboard" directory into the "data" directory.
The "storyboard" directory is at the same place than the "data" directory.

tvp 9 standard user ?

Post by Gravin »

Hello,

I have the standard educational version of tvpaint 9 and after updating to 9.5 I'm getting an error message "this is only available in tvp pro" ?

This happens each time I launch the program... I can still use it of course, no problems with any functionality that would be expected for my version of the software, but the beep and error box each time I launch is a little irratating!

is this normal?

I've deleted any and all configuration files that I know to remove and reinstalled everything more then twice (including sentinal drivers).
