audio renders too slow
audio renders too slow
Hope this is the right place for this - I'm a Mirage user but it is not related to it. When I put sound to 24fps animation in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum8 and Windows Movie Maker the sound renders too slow (avi,wmv). I've tried changing the project to 30 fps with no improvement. Yet, it renders OK at 24fps to Quick Time. It seems it may be about codecs but I don't how to go about putting it all right. The free codecs site sends me dizzy. Is there anyone that can nudge me in the right direction? Thanking you in eager anticipation.

Ed, I'm sure someone from TVP will find your post here and answer it , but I thought I'd just mention there is a specific tech support sub-forum for Mirage users:edjones wrote:Hope this is the right place for this - I'm a Mirage user but it is not related to it. TVPaint 6 (Aura) & TVPaint 7 (Mirage)
Try posting your question there . Might get a faster response. Though the sound issue might not be specific to Mirage
they might be more likely to see the question and answer it if it's in the tech support forum for Mirage users.

Re: audio renders too slow
I've come across this issue on the Vegas sites. Try the Sony one:
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/for ... ?forumid=4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or this one:
http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/what-happens-vegas/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or both if you are in a hurry -- my preferred forum though is the second one, because it resembles the TVP forums in attitude and expertise.

Thanks to you both for such a quick response. I'll scoot right on over there, Paul, and I'll report back if/ when I get somewhere.
