gorgeous !
it looks like based on a watercolor on paper scanned piece of artwork,
then re-worked in tvpa (mask, + custombrush touch-up) ... am I right ?

Wow O_o

That's really impressive. I love the texture and the rendering : it brings something really dynamic, a little like if you had thrown your brush and "Paf" ! it makes something great (even if I know that's not the case :roll: ... albeit.. who knows after all :mrgreen: )

I wish I could do it all with TVP brushes. But not yet. I'm counting on V.10 to bring me that possibility :wink:
Still, I used my TVP brushes to draw on, erase, smear and so on. Without TVP it be organic.
Zig's reply here describes the technique. But if you want a more detailed explanation I can post a step-by-step soon.

I wanted to post more images from the same series as the ones above, but decided it's not wise until the book is printed.
instead I'm posting an image from the summer.
