LoaderSaver plugin -linux [solved]
Ok, I want to import some images which I'm guessing is with the Loader plugin, but I can't find it! I've looked through the program very thoroughly looking for some import but I can't find anything.
The plugins do exist in /usr/share/tvpaint-developpement/tvp-animation-9-pro/plugins but I cant find them in the GUI. Do I have to rebuild for them to work?
How do I import images into TVPaint?

Re: LoaderSaver plugin -linux [solved]
well, you could simply drag&drop footage into TVP.

Drag and drop in the linux interface is on the "to do" list.malcooning wrote:well, you could simply drag&drop footage into TVP.

You're right, that also worked now when I tried that.Fabrice wrote:or just "open" in the file menu
But I must say that way was a bit unintuitive. - I expert the open menu to open project files, not importing footage. I'd expert a separate import option. And the title of the file browser when choosing open is "Open Project".
Re: LoaderSaver plugin -linux [solved]
we should call it " open ..." only, or " open / import "

Yes, I agree. I rarely use the "open" (I usually drag and drop), bu that's true, just "open" would be sufficient, I think =)

If I can make a wish I'd prefer separate open and import menu items.
In most if not all application I work with you open project files and import footage/artwork. It's two different things. Having them merged into "open" is confusing.

Yes, I agree =)
Even I, I'm sometimes looking for "import" and remember it's "open" ^^

Re: LoaderSaver plugin -linux [solved]
IMO, less buttons/options is better. A line with " open / import " is enough.
