Re: TVPaint Updates
Same here. The Wacom software is a mystery even to its developers. I'd like to say, 'get used to it', but that's impossible, as much as I've been trying over the years.

Wacom say "Backup and restore when your graphic software, Windows OS Pen(Wintab) settings something change, and update Wacom Tablet Driver".
They have a Tablet preference delete(make new .plist/.int file), backup and restore tool.

Re: TVPaint Updates
I am much too familiar with this gadget and do appreciate it because it does what it is supposed to do. But the latest drivers do not allow the classic pen to be used together with the grip pen in TVP. I am convinced that the problem lies with TVP because in other applications both pens work. I had a moment of excitement yesterday when the Wintab (checked on) seemed to have fixed this, but in a few minutes TVP once more rejected the classic pen. This really frustrates me because I love that thin pen and the fat one -- both serve different purposes in my workflow.

Re: TVPaint Updates
So what was the conclusion about Wintab?
When ON, pen behaves as usual.
When OFF, those who use dekstop machines see no difference, and those with TabletPCs lose the functions of the right-click (sideswitch).
Is it so?

Re: TVPaint Updates
Something like that, because using PC, I see no difference. Are you working on a tablet PC?

I'm on a desktop: an Intuos4 and Vista 64bit, and when Wintab is 'off' I lose the sideswitch and pressure sensitivity.malcooning wrote:...

When it's 'on' everything is OK and life is beautiful.
