Les Gobelins -2010

Post by Elodie »

Here are the short movies from the Gobelins :

Some of them used TVP Animation (we are only sure for "Le Royaume", as we are mentioned" ^^)
Here is a scene really impressive in that demo real (1'33)

"Le Royaume", made by Nuno AVES-RODRIGUES and Oussama BOUACHERIA. They even thank us in the closing credits =)

3 petits points also mention it in the credits (Co-réalisé en partie sous TVPaint animation).

My 2 favorites of this year, even if the others are wonderful as well.

Sorry guys, we talk in French, but don't hesitate to add you own comments about Gobelins' movies =)

Yes, but for the coloring only, with the "autopick color" option into the paint bucket tool.

In "Le Royaume", they have partly animated on paper, and because of the lack of time (scan, clean, etc ... there is no batch scanner allowed for students at the Gobelins school !!!), they have animated on TVP Animation directly and finished the project on time.

Hi. I'm sorry, what exactly is "the Gobelins"? An animation course perhaps?

Les Gobelins is considered like the best animation school in France.

Few years ago, they were nominated for their movie "Oktapodi"

Each year, movies at the Animation Film Festival in Annecy are preceded by an opening made by the students from Les Gobelins
