Here is a new wip from my current project.
---------------
Basic story:
Seaside town, man waiting for his absent woman, fishermen waiting for the absent fishes, by chance they capture an coelacanth.
--------------
It's almost finished, by now I'm finetuning to make it a bit more communicative (via text on slip of papers) and working on some audio issues.
ca. 280 MB/ 15 min.:
Edit: there will be soon a newer version.
some shots:

Re: life of mussels
Here is the updated version
(mp4/H264; AAC Stereo; 512x288, 16 min, 85 MB):
// edit: not available anymore //Dec 23
would be nice to hear some comments, eg about the implantation of additional text ...

Re: life of mussels
Hmm.. when I downloaded yesterday I got an animatic in German about a dog or wolf and a little girl (I didn't pay much attention to it). Otherwise, as I told you over PM, I think your film works very well now and is quite an accomplishment (15 minutes) and you must be very proud. It was quite interesting to watch your growth as an animator develop over time into a completed short. This film stands out for me as an example of how someone with determination and self discipline can finish what he sets out for, in spite of a very busy daytime job. I tell you people, It is worth the long download wait.
Something I have not brought up with you; I noticed that at times something will shift incrementally when I suspect it was not your intention. Are you aware of these instances?
I have written you in length my feelings about your film, which I would like to share with others, if there will be some signs of interest in this unique work of yours that is -- otherwise why bother since you already know what they are.

Re: life of mussels
Thank you very much for watching my film and for the replies.
I am now on finetuning and making changes for the text cards which I believe should be less artificial but more "classic", white text against black background.
