Everything you describe comes together like a worn out jigsaw puzzle which I recognize as fitting, even without having seen much of its box cover.

Paul, I'm still laughing because this can be read in two ways: either as you agreeing to my critique of Ushev's film, or else as "this is exactly the attitude I expected from you" ...

:D :D sorry.... :| :) :D  I can see what you mean! I am in agreement with you and am obfuscating my response because I realize that I have no right to express judgment about a film without seeing it. But the truth is, I’ve seen the teaser, I know something about some of the people and cultures involved in its creation and the rest I can fill in based on similar films of the same background I have seen over the years and your assessment.

No harm done ...

And I know how you feel. Very often it is hard for us not to jump to conclusions when we meet a film (or other product of art) that already uses well-known ingredient A, B and C from the list ... it's so much more likely that it will use D and E as well and have a certain taste than not. It's a bit like being 5 minutes into the TV crime series episode and telling the girlfriend "It's the butler" without really watching.
