Re: Cleaning up sequences
Ah, the eternal wisdom of the dog! I will offer it an extra large bone at sunset.

Re: Cleaning up sequences
Hi again!
Thank you! The coloring works well now.
Anyone has an idea what to do with this following layer thing? So, I am importing these hand drawn pictures into TVPaint and it works well through "file and open". The pictures will appear on the time line and the layer allows itself to be renamed as well. Then I try to create more layers and that's when it gets weird. At first I can create another layer and name it but when trying to import pictures on the new layer through "file and open" the old layer somehow dissappears. Also, the name that I had given to the new layer dissappears as well. So what on earth can that mean..?
Have a nice day everyone! (*-*)/

Re: Cleaning up sequences
Do you see just one layer at a time? If so, you need to make (drag) your layer panel wider.

Re: Cleaning up sequences
When you import images you don't need to create a new layer first, they do that automatically.
There's two ways to import things: one is "Open file ..." which only is useful for opening existing TVP files, and PSD files with many layers which need to be separate layers in TVP as well.
The other way is from _inside_ an open TVP project. In the Layer menu top left in the timeline, right under "New layer", there's "Import footage". This is the one we normally use to import images into a file.
(Yes, it's confusing.)

Re: Cleaning up sequences
it means you probably loaded your second sequence in a New Project,JoHanna wrote:... to load it in the same project but as a new layer by the "Open file ..." way, you don't need to create an empty layer first, you just have to select the [Layer] Tab in the Import Footage panel (see pict. below, the default setting is the first tab = [Project] .)
... or is it something else ???
