Changing animation line colour in every frame

Post by Mishiek45 »

Is there a way to change the line colour of a character's animation across all frames at the same time? Thanks for your help!

Take a look at the "Coloring" tutorial, see if that answers your question.

you can use the "preserve transparency"button for this.
its the button to the left of the green Proxy bar in the top.
it locks the alpha information and so coloring the whole screen results in only coloring the lines

that is, if you have the lines on a separate layer from your color fill layer.

The easiest way to change the line color is to have the lines on their own layer. Convert the whole layer of lines to red, blue or yellow with the colored ink in the sketch panel. Then select the whole layer again and use the Color Adjust from the effects menu and adjust the brightness, saturation and angle to adjust the hue as desired. Makes the whole process automatic.

Sorry Ryan, but i don't think that is the easiest way!
If you have the lines on a separate layer to begin with, using the "preserve transparency" button is easiest by far
