Auto fill bucket option?

Post by Erayo »

I was wondering if there is a way to "track" the line-art and auto fill it with the bucket.
The tracking doesn't have to be perfect in my situation, it will also work if I can just put a small mark where the bucket should "click" and move it with effect key frames.
This could really save me a lot of time instead of coloring frame after frame.
It sound like a really easy effect to programs, yet I couldn't find anything similar...
maybe paintbucketing multi frames on single click?

I'm new to the forum (and TV-paint), correct me if I posted in the wrong section.
Thanks for the help!

With small movements it's good enough to click into a spot which is shared by the same fill area in all frames. Do, undo, select all, redo. Still you have to make sure all lines are closed, and if anything goes wrong you have to start again. (Duplicate that layer before.)

With broad movements you're better off with doing it by hand. I used Animo when it was an Ink & Paint system, and the automatic tracking worked only so far. I don't find TVP slower.

Thanks a lot!
At first your method didn't work but then I tried "Re-Apply" (Enter) instead of Redo and it worked just fine.

And while on it, I got another little question:
I noticed the different brushes use the paper source for the texture, is there a way to make the paper texture random for each frame so the filling won't be static?

Search for "paper offset", someone wrote a script.

Yep there's a few ways to achieve the random paper texture effect - discussed in this thread. :)

and don't forget the "auto pick color" option in the fill panel.
with this you can color really fast using the lighttable.
set lightable mode to none and switch on only the previous frame now color the first frame entirely (using the paintbucket, preferably on a separate lower layer using source front.)
Then move to the next frame and click and drag the colors to their new position.
with one finger on the "next frame" arrow you can speed through your animation, coloring it really fast....works like a charm

Wich, for some reason, is called "couleur de l'image" in the french version (?!)
("none" = "image color" )
