INK brushes by Rune Ryberg
INK brushes by Rune Ryberg
I've made a small set of ink brushes for an assignment I'm currently busy with. I've grown quite fond of them and thought I'd share them.
They should emulate those refillable ink brushes that gives you that nice hard texture.
As with all digital brushes, best results are achieved by applying and erase.

Thanks for sharing.
new good custom made brushes are always welcome.
A while ago I posted a dry-ink brush which is based on TVP's OilBrush. The advantage of it not being a CutsomBrush is that it's mush faster to use in large resolutions, and it scales up better than CustomBrush. Of course it has a different kind of feel to your brushes, but give it a go. you might like it.
You can tweak it's bristle formation by changing the brush proflie.
The angle of the brush is set to Azimuth. So if you have a tablet that recognizes pen angle, it works really well with this brush. Otherwise set it to Direction.

That's a very good brush Malcooning, Thanks a lot. This is exactly what I wan't from brushes.
Very clever with the altitude for size and azimuth for angle.

I don't know why the the jpg isn't showing as an image in the first post, perhaps it should have been an image link.

Oh, I thought that was the link. Sorry.slowtiger wrote:uhm, the jpg attached to the first posting isn't enough?
(Though an image in the body of the post would be preferable to me.)
Thanks for the brushes!

Re: INK brushes by Rune Ryberg
I'm having trouble installing these brushes, could anyone help me out? I'm used to tvxp extention brushes but I have no idea when it comes to these ones and I've tried everything. Sorry, I'm a noob haha!
