I'm using my MacBook pro 17" as a second screen, and the Cintiq 12" as my main work screen for TVP
In TVP my cursor is set to "Point", so it's basically a very tiny dot, barely visible. But as long as I'm on the Cintiq, its perfectly fine, cause I'm using the Wacom pen, and always know where the cursor is located. Problems begin when switching screens: every time I switch from TVP to the other screen, the cursor stays the same tiny dot, which is impossible to see on the 17" Mac screen and I have to click anywhere random, only then it turns into a normal cursor and I can see it again. The inconvenience of that is obvious - first I lose sight of the cursor, thus sometimes even don't know at which screen I am, second I can accidentally click something I didn't want to. The next is even more annoying - when going back to work in TVP - the cursor very often doesn't change back to the TVP native cursor (to the "point" cursor), only after I choose some tool like a pencil, it becomes a point again.

So basically, having a different cursor when you are on the project panel and when you are anywhere else should do the job ?
Did I understand it correctly ?

Nope Fabrice :)
As a workaround, until it get fixed, you can hit Command-Tab instead of blindly clicking anywhere.
It happens when you leave rapidly TVPA's window. For some as yet unknown reason this event isn't catched.

Quicktime is DEAD. Get over it and move on !
Re: Cursor visibilty problem on Mac
Actually in TVP now, when I move the mouse over other panels, the cursor changes into an arrow no problem. For some reason it doesn't work when the mouse leaves TVP window. So yes - it would do the job as long as TVP regosteres, that the mouse have left the window.Fabrice wrote:So basically, having a different cursor when you are on the project panel and when you are anywhere else should do the job ?

Unfortunately not a good one for me - my MacBook Pro (with it's keyboard) is right behind my Cintiq, since I like the second screen to be right in front and I almost don't need the keyboard for work – Wacom pen and shortcuts on the Cintiq buttons are enough, that's what I like about TVPematecki wrote:As a workaround, until it get fixed, you can hit Command-Tab instead of blindly clicking anywhere.
