Exporting psd files..

Post by elmisilhumano »

Hello! I'm Mikko, animator from Finland.
I'd like to ask if it's possible to export imagesequence as .psd with transparency??
I can export one image at the time, but if I try to export them as a sequence transparency is replaced with black..

Hi Mikko,
Glad to see you there!
It is not possible, in the current version of TVP Animation, to export a sequence as .psd.
You can either export a sequence of psd file which will contain only a merged frame of all the layers of the original project or a single image of the project saved as a psd file with all the layer and transparency.
However i strongly believe that your question turned into a request and i would not be surpised to see this ability in the next update.
Regards,
Nicolas

Ok. Thanks for reply. I asked because I'm working with a rotoscoping project and my job is to draw all the lines. Coloring is going to be done by someone else in photoshop. So is there better way to get the job done than export the whole sequence frame by frame??

Hi Mikko,

I have a great news for you!
Before the end of the week we will release the 1.1 version of TVP Animation. One of the new feature is the PSD sequence export you want.
This option will appear in the "Project tab" of the "Export" panel.

Just be patient
