Dear team,
Could you please help me out.
I have 'migrated' files and software onto a new laptop using Migration Assistent (Mac).
Now TVPAP will not open. It is telling me:
Can't create a cashfile (for it is looking for the path on the computer it is copied from) Use default path. OK-button.
When I click 'ok' it simply crashes.
Tried deleting the application and re-installing from the original dmg-file, but no change.
Any suggestions? Would it be possible to reset the path for the cashfile by deleting some preference somewhere?
Thanks in advance, Conny

Hi Conny,
Remove or rename the folder "tvpaint animation pro" in "your home"/Library.

Hello Hervé,
Renaming the folder did the trick and it is running fine now.
Thank you for your quick reply, Conny
NB for anyone going the same route as I did.
It took me quite some time to find this folder for there is no Libraryfolder here anymore in OS 10.7... So it seems: in default the "my home / Library" folder is hidden.
To show User ~/Library in OS X Lion:
Launch Terminal from Spotlight or Launchpad -> Utilities, and enter the following command to show or hide the directory:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
And press return. The users Library folder will immediately become visible again.
To hide User ~/Library in OS X Lion (default setting)
chflags hidden ~/Library
And press return.

Thanks.
Oh yes, that's right ! The ~/Library folder was hidden in Lion.
We will add it to the documentation !
(BTW, yet another pain creeping over from winblows :( :( )

Hi Eric, your welcome.
"(BTW, yet another pain creeping over from winblows )"
Yes indeed!
Reminds me of the 'good old days' where I would change extensions manually on my second hand Mac Se to keep it running smoothley
