Keyboard Shrtcut for "Stamp in Place" [solved]

Post by Soom »

Hi all
I use the "stamp in place" function very often. I wanted to assign a keyboard shortcut to it, but I couldn't find anything in the preferences. Is there a way to assign a shortcut to this command?
Thanks

It's the equal key, but I improved it to stamp and advance to the next frame like this:
=Tools: Draw Dot+Layer:Next Image

Paul, the equal key is not assign to this function in the default keybord configuration, but you can easily assign "Tools: Draw Dot" to a key with the shortcut panel ( ctrl K )

I have assigned a key to Draw Dot, but it doesn't stamp the brush In Place - it draws it wherever the cursor is, which is not what I need... I need it to be stamped exactly in the same place where it was sampled...

maybe it should be called Tools: Custom Brush Stamp in Place
so it is easier to find the shortcut

I agree - sometimes names in the keyboard shortcuts settings panel are not the same as the actual names of the command - I came across this a couple of times, but I don't remember exactly which commands those were...

When you notice that a keyboard shortcut does not correspond to the original name of the command, do not hesitate to report it =)
