Hi, i am enjoying tv paint alot and after playing with it for awhile i had a few questions, i noticed the animation palette on the right auto hides itself until i mouse over there. I was wondering if that could be done with other parts such as the timeline at the bottom by automatically hiding itself when im not mousing over it.
Also can someone please tell me how to export my animation. I have set on 10 fps on quicktime and animation is selected, not sequence. It exports but when played, its just 2 of the frames i have.
Hope you guys can help, thanks

Hello,
Concerning the panel bin on the right, when the panel bin is "open", click on the black rectangle at the top, in order to "stick" it on the interface (like the left panel bin or the timeline).
Concerning the export, look at Quicktime configurations and see if (click on the "Config" button of the export panel) :
* the FPS = 10 (basically 30 with QT)
* the "key image" is disabled

Always take care which layer is selected before you hit Export. You can change the frame numbers (first and last) to export something shorter, but not make it longer there.

For exporting Quick Time, pay attention to the following:
1. Click File>Export to... (not any other export option)
2. Export window will appear
3. Make sure that the following is set:
In QuickTime config window set the following:

2. Export window will appear
3. Make sure that the following is set:
- Animation is selected
Frame Rate = 10 fps

Strech to frame rate is OFF!
Make sure 'Mark in' and 'Out' are set to correct frames
In QuickTime config window set the following:
- Compression type: H.264 (if you plan to use the exported sequence for editing, you need to choose some other uncompressed format)

Yes, at the top right corner of each Dock (Right Dock, Left Dock, Bottom Timeline Dock) there is a little black triangle that can be clicked on to change it's orientation from pointing to the side or pointing down . With the triangle set to pointing down the Dock will stay visible all the time. If the triangle is set to point to the side then the Dock will be hidden until you move your cursor over to the Right edge of the screen or to the Left edge of screen, or Bottom edge of screen (to reveal the hidden Timeline)Markelim wrote: I noticed the animation palette on the right auto hides itself until I mouse over there. Be sure that in the Quicktime export Configs you have unchecked the box next to "Key Frame Every ____ Frames" if you are using H.264 codec.Markelim wrote:

Also be sure you haven't accidentally set the Mark-In/Mark-Out to frame 2 as the "Mark Out" because then it will only export the first two frames --It exports but when played, its just 2 of the frames .

One more tip; if you find your panel inadvertently locked in a docked mode, double click on the top bar (where Project or Clip info appears) and this will release the lock.
