That depends, in Amsterdam the bike is actually the fastest way of getting yourself from A to B ...in most cases anyway

i can only ride 2 at the same time (which sometimes happens if i need to get one serviced)
but each one has its specifick use:
1 for cargo, like the groceries or my three daughters (or both)
1 everyday utility bike
1 long distance hybrid

38 is indeed a bit much, that would mean a 4 hour daily commute. it would keep you in shape though!

i did commute a 20 km distance by bike for some time but that was only once a week! and not the whole year through.

a sledge dog sounds like fun but so is this: :mrgreen:

and your right Michael you'd need a pretty big car to seat all this... those children seats take up a lot of space.
