Here we go! I have downloaded the TVP 10 - lovely! And am looking all over the place for information on importing artwork - say from Pshop, Painter, iPhoto, iMovie, etc.. I am on MacBookPro intel ver. 10.6.8.
I know I imported in version 9, but cannot find where in 10 to do this?
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Kathleen

You should be able to pull in any valid file via File->Open, it will present you with options for importing, marking frames, etc.

Everything idragosani said above, plus on a Mac you can just drag and drop any image file or movie file on to an open TVPaint window and it will bring up the Import window.
So say you have .png image saved from Photoshop: drag and drop it to an open TVPaint project window.
Or you have a Quicktime .mov file : drag and drop it to an open TVPaint project window.
Phew, thanks, to both - I feel better and better about the richness of this program every time I open it up and every time I visit this forum.
Midnight oil is about burned out, but well worth it.
There is a new "New Layer Panel" when you click on "New" on top of the layer panel. In this panel you can preconfigure your new layer and there a button "Import" to directly import something into a layer.
An other little tip : after creating a preconfigured layer, you can right-click on the "New" button to automatically create a layer with your last preconfigured parameters.
