Rotation of brush interlacing/low resolution?

Post by matthewchapman »

Hi guys-
I am poking around with TVpaint (mirage) again, and wondering about the rotation of brushes. When I make a drawing and select it to be part of the custom brush, if I do any amount of rotation the drawing instantly becomes very pixelated. It may not be noticable from afar but it looks far from good.

Has this been fixed in either 9 or 10? Or is there some somple box I haven't checked in preferences.

Best,
Matt

This problem is gone in 10. A lot of things have been improved and reinvented since Mirage. As of a recent date, Mirage actually is no longer supported.

What's your quality setting on anti-aliasing? Any rotation aside from 90° and maybe 45° will result in a slightly deteriorated quality, that's part of the game. By anti-aliasing this the effect can be smoothed, but only to a certain extent.
