I use the Cut Brush a lot to copy/stamp elements of drawings. But every time I select a new area, I need to change the Smooth setting to Best in order to rotate it and stamp with better quality.
That is really annoying - I would like to be able to set the Best option as a default - is it possible?
thanks

Yes : when you can enable "Brush smooth" in the "tool menu : cut brush"
Or, you can enable "Keep" : each time you will cut a new brush, it will keep the previous settings (smooth, size etc...)

You're welcome =)
Re: [Solved] Can I set Smooth-Best as a default on custom br
It's a bit confusing though: when I pick a custom brush, and click the Smooth setting, I get 3 options: None, Medium and Best. Usually I select Best to have better quality. When I follow your advice and select Brush Smooth in the cut Brush options, I get a brush with Smooth setting "Medium", but not "Best", cause there is no option to choose. But in fact I didn't see any difference between Medium and Best, at least not visually...

Best is very heavy to manage, in particular if you cut something big and do many changes.
For drawing or quick copy/past, Medium is really sufficient.
You can also use "Keep" : it will keep the configuration of the previous custom brush.

Thanks, Medium is enough indeedElodie wrote: You can also use "Keep" : it will keep the configuration of the previous custom brush.
But "Keep" actually keeps ALL the settings of the previous brush, therefore if I choose some other custom brush before using the cut brush, it will act as that brush, not as a cut-paste tool... so this doesn't work for me in this case.
