Could it be that you have such a special way of holding your pen that as you come around the curve you begin to press on the bottom side of the rocker switch, thus activating "erase"?

Blame it on your first grade teacher for not instilling proper penmanship in you.

do you notice different results when you try differnt speeds and different sizes or different direction (clockwise vs counterclockwise)?

Hi Peter- the problem is that even though I have the rocker switch on the side of the pen disabled it is "On" in TVP...
Dont ask me how ... Paul suggested that i check this and he was right... I just figerued that if it was off it would not be an issue...

I have no idea how to fix this but I may call Wacom....

thanks for your note...

ah sorry, i read over that
if you don't want to use the switch anyway, you can physically remove the plastic cap of the switch, put a little tape over it (or even rotate the rubber grip over it) and your problem is gone.

admittedly a rather kill or cure solution... but you can always put it back

Just called Wacom... ( the best company with the best tech support on the planet) 5years out on this tablet and they never ask when i bought it...
So first he told me to download the latest drivers - I will reload my drivers but as i downloaded the current ones 2 month ago - he said i most likley had the
most current drivers. The disable rocker does not work in any of my other programs including Word , Audible, Final draft and Abelton Live...and the dratted fleet of Adobe products that pack my mac ....so lets chalk this up to bad Juju....

They never asked when you bought your tablet because they had no intentions in doing anything for you and got rid of you in a well oiled manner, perfected by years of exceptional inattentiveness.

Maybe... But most products you can't even get to support
Unless you are vetted and pay up before the call
- I like Wacom products - never had any problems
With them ... I don't like the cintique
So I returned the one I bought ...
Have you had problems with your Wacom tablet Paul?

Many continuous problems; Maddening Problems, with their software, which is an ongoing issue. I once talked to a Wacom rep about the issue, and he just heaved this long sigh and softly said: "Eh software; no one can ever get any software right, don't you agree?"

Why would it be turning on halfway through your circle, though? Maybe your "connection" for pressure or tilt is screwy on the brush? Does it happen with all of the brushes or just a particular brush?

EDIT: never mind, I am misreading what the problem was.
