The zooming feature in the timeline is great, except that it seems by default to zoom into frame #1 or thereabouts. (On repeated zooms, it gets closer & closer to frame #1.)
Usually I have it zoom on the playhead, which is where I'm working.
Thanks,
David
How to change the focus of your zoom in the timeline
Re: How to change the focus of your zoom in the timeline
Have you tried looking this up in the manual?

Yes! I should clarify, the manual does mention the use of the Z button. But it's quite small. To save clicking around the GUI, I am trying to do this with keyboard commands!
I assigned Right / Left arrows to the Timeline Zoom function. It seems there should be an option to zoom "from current frame."

Re: How to change the focus of your zoom in the timeline
Is it the zoom in the clip timeline or the project timeline? or both?
Which version of TVP is you using ? the Zoom in the Project timeline has changed in 10 compared to 9.5.
HAve you tried zooming with ALT+RMB?

Mads yes, this is exactly the shortcut I was looking for. Works like a charm.
Overall I am trying to find keyboard solutions outside of the GUI, to get things done more quickly. This is a good one to add to the arsenal!
Thanks,
