No sound in clip. [Solved]

Post by Henk Beumers »

I have a project with a lot of clips. Together they make the film. Most of the time I work in one clip but I wanted to try this method.
Now I have the sound track loaded in the project. If I play back the project I can hear the sound, but in the clip I can't. I can hear the sound effects loaded in the clip to support some keys and also when I play back the project I can hear the sound effects.
Is it a setting? I read the manual several times but I seem to mis it if it's there.

Henk Beumers.

It is a setting that is disable from default(I think it should be enabled by default- why not?) go to the preference settings. And in the sound tab you'll find enable sound in clips - mads

In fact, the solution was in the first lesson (bu I agree, it would have been useful to repeat it in the lesson 9).

Go to Edit > Preferences > Sound tab and check "Play project sound in the clip".

You're right Mads, maybe it should be enable by default =)

Hi

Thanks very much. I'm known as a cripple when it comes to finding things in a manual. I count meself lucky to be surrounded by people who seem to have a noose for it.

Thanks again Henk.

Don't be so rude with you, there are so many functions with TVPaint and this is not always easy to find what you are looking for. That's why we have a forum :D
