"Cave of Forgotten Dreams"

Post by idragosani »

From Werner Herzog's wonderful documentary "Cave of Forgotten Dreams", the oldest known human artwork is in a cave complex Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc, and that some of this artwork resembles multiple frames of animation. So it seems TVPaint is continuing a fine tradition that started in the same part of the world 35,000 years ago!

If you've not seen this film, you should! It's a wonderful documentary!

I remember I saw something similar in an other documentary.

The people in the caves were drawing some part of animated animals, and you could feel a real animation by changing quickly the lightning.
