Re: new interface technology
Reminds me of the interactive interfaces on 'Minority Report'

Yeah, I saw this video yesterday, it's pretty cool !
It's not too expensive : 69,99$ + 12,99$ for international shipping.
I still hesitate to buy it.
They have a development kit too. It could be interesting to see what we can do with it

Haha, excellent
But I wonder what would be the usefulness for people like you and me.

Re: new interface technology
Couldn't the LeapMotion allow someone to draw with a computer? So you wouldn't need a Cintiq?
I would think the people at TVP would be interested in that...
I love my Cintiq, but if there's another way to draw on a computer, I'm definitely interested.

Re: new interface technology
What's interesting with a cintiq is the pressure sensitivity. How can we so that with the leap motion ?
Re: new interface technology
It seems to show something like pressure sensitivity in the first part of the video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6hCwjwz ... ure=relmfu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Perhaps the slower you "draw" the wider the line could get?

Re: new interface technology
What I mean is that you don't ahve the feeling of the real pressure when drawing.
