Point Cursor looks different in Mac/Win

I like the point cursor in Windows, but on the Mac it's almost invisible on a white background.
I don't think this is new, but I hope it can be fixed in an update. Also I would really love the ability to add our own cursor files, since I find all but the point to be too big.
