Work Flow

Post by Skipz »

Hi All,
Newbie to TVP, i'm wondering where to find a workflow reference.

We are currently familiar with the traditional workflow with animo.
Line test on paper - scan - colour in animo - shadow/highlight - scan - colour in animo - render parses for compositing.

Anyone could share some tips?

Cheers!

You could easily adapt your workflow to TVP.
Scan - import - scan cleaner - colour.
TVP 10.0.18 and 11.0 MacPro Quadcore 3GHz 16GB OS 10.6.8 Quicktime 7.6.6
TVP 11.0 and 11.7 MacPro 12core 3GHz 32GB OS 10.11 Quicktime 10.7.3
TVP 11.7 Mac Mini M2pro 32GB OS 13.5

for me the workflow is usually something like this:
design in tvpaint > storyboard+keyframes in tvpaint > linetest in tvp > clean up in tvp > color in tvp > composite in tvp > edit in tvp (or NLE of choice)

as all steps are done in tvp the lines between those steps can (and in my case do) get blurry.
There really is no formalised or premeditated flow for tvp, everybody can use his/her preferred method

We have planed to add something on the website, but for now your best source of information is this forum.

Just fell free to ask any question.
