LOW QUALITY, what's wrong??

Post by ebphoto »

I acquired TVP standard ediction and it's on my imac finally!
I already draw 3 scenes 'n it's works good but i've a problem :?
I already have colored a scene (the character and the background!) 'n when i The Problem is: when i start the playback preview (to see how it moves the cartoon) i see that the scene is very low quality, it's terrible.
It is like to see a very low resolution digital photo (10 x 15 cm) at 100 x 200 cm with all problems that it can shows. Very horrible
Now i try to say step by step how i created the scene but befor of this keep in mind that when i stop the Playback preview everything into images is good about quality.

Draw on a layer the character after a layer that containts a 92dpi image (jpeg) (this layer 4 me is very necessary to get good result for the character drawning.
On 3° Layer i put the background already painted on another project. His dimension (or size?) is the double of the character project: 2000 x 1400 almost.
To get the background movements i use: the keyframer.
The scene is ready but the result is very Low quality, ...some setting i must check 'n adjust? What's wrong?
I really hope someone can help me 'cose i'm not satisfied to see the low quality..

Thank You.

Are your project settings, created in the startup panel, set to Progressive (no fields)? What are your settings in your Preview settings panel?

So what are your Preview Settings? Whatever you have there, fool around with the settings to see if there are any improvements.

Under the Windows tab of the main menu at the very top search for a window called Preview Settings. Open it and fool around with those settins, such as Proxy Render, Full Quality Preview, Play All etc.

Well Paul, i dunno what's Proxy render ecc but i pushed all those settings to the Top 'n i can
say that there in the cartoon scene a lil bit of quality is viewable :)
If u think there are some other settings that i can manage to obtain better quality, please, let me know! :)
However after all.., i thing that i did something wrong with imported image....

Thank you so much Paul! :)

Please Emil, don't use "sms" language.

Write "you" instead of "u" / "and" instead of "n'" / "don't know" instead of "dunno", etc... Most persons here are not English natives (just like you in fact -you are Italian, if I remember well) and all of them are not used to this kind of language ;)

Thank you.
