Thanks. Sandra looked at it and said, "I have nicer layer colors", which is true -- I haven't done anything about mine yet...

Paul, you seem to be adding one monitor every year to your setup.
4 is something indeed.
I guess side-bins are not much of a novel feature you ha? :)
What portion of the whole display is your Wacom assigned to?

Four I think is the limit; I don't believe there are graphic cards with more slots, but I can't see that I would ever need more than four. The fourth one I really installed for use in Vegas more than TVP, because it is a large and more expensive one that shows true colors and I use it as an external preview monitor -- it's placed above the other three so clients or visitors can watch while sitting or standing behind me, instead of bending over my shoulders.

But sidebins I find very useful because they keep all of my picture palettes (I have 27 of them) close by and the other bin keeps my most commonly used plugins handy as well.

My tablet reach is mapped only to the proximity of my project window, where I can reach with my pen all the heads of layers to the right, and only about half the width of the Main Panel to my left, and all of the Light Table and the Windows ToolBar at the bottom. There I can reach with my pen only the Wacom icon, which I need to open quite often to adjust the softness of my pen. I can do this with the Profile editor too, but it takes fewer steps to adjust the sensitivity in Wacom's software.

Physically, when meassured with a ruler, My Drawing Window is about 10 x 7 inches which corresponds equally to my drawing physical area on the tablet. I guess I could then say that 90% of the time I draw on a 10 field size "paper".

Picture Palette has a limit but I cracked it by doing some renaming and someone else cracked it further by doing some more renaming... :)

Good news indeed!

And I am still using the AR&T UI colors - I'd be interested in any new refinements for that, too...

Refinements as in embellishments? That would have to be originated on the developer's side with code because there is nothing left for us to add.

I guess I'm talking UI colors - Sandra's tweaks.

Paul, what graphics card (manufacturer and model number) do you use for four monitors? Are there any special drivers required? Am I officially off topic here?

My card is an NVEDIA Quadro NVS 420, which is specified for financial market software. This card seems to be often dismissed by videographers who say it's not a video card thus should not be taken into consideration, which my IT, who selected it, completely rejects. His reasoning is that just because it is listed for financial applications doesn't say it is not good for video apps. It works fine for me, both with TVP and Sony Vegas. I think another way to go, if you want 4 monitors, would be to use two video cards.
