Questions about Update Function

Hello,

before I try it out and fall into some traps, I would like to know something about the update function in TVPaint:

I have TVPaint 10.0.x 64 Bit (NETWORK VERSION !) installed.
I want to make an update using the automatic update function from the help menu of TVPaint. I also like to install parallel the TVPaint 32 Bit version.

1. Using the update function I get an update downloaded. Is this update working for every PC in our network. We have three different dongles.

2. Is there also a possibility to download also the 32 bit version using the update function?

3. If yes and there is no 32 Bit version installed yet, is the update file able to install the 32 Bit version parallel to the 64 Bit version - or do I need a different install version? (I remember the file size of the installer on the cd is much bigger than the update files - that's why I ask.

The update will download the same version as installed (64 or 32 bits).
So to get both version, you have to make an update with each version (32 and 64 bits).
Thus you need to install each version at least once, maybe by downloading it thru the update page manually.

The downloaded version is not locked to your dongle, but to its "mode".
What I mean by "mode" is single-seat (STD) or multi-seat (NET).
If your dongles are all of the same kind, the downloaded version will work for all of them.

The update is smaller because the manual is not included in the update, the installed one will be kept.
