Hello,
I remember, that there is a possibility to pick up a color of a previous frame during coloring with the bucket fill tool. I think, Elodie mentioned it somewhere, but I searched and didn't found it. So, I would like to use this way of coloring, but don't know, how to do.
So, please give me a hint, if anyone knows what I am asking for .
Thanks from Animark

Re: Picking Color from Previous Frames
You mean the colorpicker...? It's in your keyboard shortcut window under Color-Pick.

Re: Picking Color from Previous Frames
Yes, it's the color picker, but i mean exactly the possibility to choose a color from let's say frame 1 to use it in frame 2 WITHOUT walking to frame 1. It's kind of a faster way to pick up colors.

Re: Picking Color from Previous Frames
You have to activate "Auto Pick Color" in the "Filling Shape" Panel.
Then choose "Previous Image" for the "Source" parameter in "Shape Settings".
Now it picks the color from the previous frame on mouse down, and fills with it on mouse up, up can be anywhere on the image.
Obviously a simple click is a down followed by an up at the same spot.

Re: Picking Color from Previous Frames
Anyway, "Source" is always set to something...
But if it is not set to "Previous frame", it won't pick the color in the previous frame ! but in (some sub-part of) the current frame.
Or else it's a bug !

Re: Picking Color from Previous Frames
No, I think "auto pick color" is independent from the source settings. I had an eye on it and it worked as expected even when set to current frame. But after your hint I found the description in the manual (page 6-40) and it says, it works in combination with the lighttable. However, it works and helped me a lot today and the will make my life a little bit easier next days also .

Re: Picking Color from Previous Frames
The Auto Pick color can only detects the color from previous image. You can use with the light table, but it works even if the LT is not activated.
