Re: Update 10.0.13
FYI, I don't see any performance lags on Linux with the barbecue option turned on (drawing with still very responsive, no hestitation switching between brushes, eraser mode versus color mode, etc). CPU usage goes waaaaay up on playback of an animation (like a multi-plane effect), between 60-70%, but this is expected, right?

Normally, the bug exists only on Windows, not on other OS. But don't ask me why

It's not a Unix-based OS? ;-PElodie wrote:Normally, the bug exists only on Windows, not on other OS. But don't ask me why

Re: Update 10.0.13
Guys, I'm sorry to say that I'm noticing that the problem still exists in the 10.0.14 update. The processor load is notability higher than on version 10.0.11. Especially with the Barbecue thing on.
Just go ahead and try it with bigger files.

Re: Update 10.0.13
If you enable the barbecue, it's "normal". If you disable it, you shouldn't have any problem anymore.

Re: Update 10.0.13
I understand it's functionality now; not all computers are born alike. Some need this, most won't and this is why the option is buried in Preferences.
