Hi,
I searched the forums and found some interesting info, but I have a specific question regarding cleanup in tvp. Im looking for a good cleanup brush. I tried the pencil brushes, but I found they are very large and blurry. If I want a sharper line I reduce the size, but then I need to make several strokes to get a visible line. I decided to use the simple black pencil from the sketch panel, with little opacity. The problem with this brush is the lines are jaggy. They are jaggier when I draw in a zoomed out view, or making slow strokes. I need to zoom in and make quick strokes to get clean lines. Am I missing something or is it just like that?
Im not looking for anything sophisticated. Just simple thin and clean line. "beleville" or "illusionist" style, I guess.
Thanks.

Re: good brush for cleanup
Maybe you just need to adjust pen pressure better to your needs. Search for Pauls last posting about this topic.

Did you try the smooth line option ?

Re: good brush for cleanup
The Perfect Ink brush from this set is very nice for cleanup work:

Re: good brush for cleanup
I don't think I have the smooth option because Im working with version 9, but I plan to buy version 10 soon.
I will try adjusting the pressure settings (never touched them) and use the brushes.
Thanks everyone!

Re: good brush for cleanup
I just noticed they upgraded the software in our school to 9.5, and it has the smoothing options. Maybe it was there all the time, and I missed it. It works really well, and I think it solves the "staircase" problem, that still exists even with the custom brushes.
Re: good brush for cleanup
If You are on Windows and experiences staircase lines and jagged lines. Make sure "Wintab" and "SubPixel" is enabled in the Preference>General

Amazing! That fixed the problem. The smoothing is also very nice, but the problem was with this setting.
Thank you very much.
