Image import issue

Post by hanna.larsson »

Hey all,

I've searched the whole forum but couldn't find the problem I'm experiencing with importing image sequences to TVP 10.0 (trial version). Maybe someone can help me out.

I try to import a jpg-sequence which is named image_001.jpg to image 016.jpg (sequential number). If I drag the first image from the finder to TVP, the import-panel appears, it says mark-in to mark-out 0 to 15. I deselect the single-image-option and click on the import-button. So far, everything seems to be fine. But after that, nothing happens on the canvas until I select the brush-tool. Now the first image appears and sticks to the cursor. If I click or hit enter, the next image of the sequence appears, still following the cursor. If I switch to another tool, e.g. the transform tool, the images disappear off the canvas and I just see them in the thumbnail on the timeline (which is still just one though a sequence had been imported). Maybe there's a simple solution that I'm just not seeing.

Thanks in advance!

You have imported the image sequence as a custom brush. In the import pop ip uou can choose between perojctt clip layer and custom brush.

Hi Hanna,

You just imported it as a custom brush, you need to specify that you want to import it as a new project or a clip or a layer by clicking on the corresponding tab in the import panel like this :
