Problem importing a jpeg drawing sequence

Hi I am having a problem importing a sequence of 28
Jpegs - they are 0nly 72 dpi so they are small
I have them in a folder on my desktop - and
I can't import them using "open"
I have also tried just dropping them into the
Drawing window ... And I get an error message
That says they jpegs can't be found ....
Any suggestions ?

If you have an empty layer available, can you do it via 'import footage' in the menu when you right click the layer?

Finally after repeatedly dropping images into project window the import footage window opened-

You can also get the import footage menu by right clicking in the layers window:

You can also use this button in the new layer panel to import them in a new layer.

To import a sequence if they're named : image001, image002, image003, ... You just have to drag and drop the first image and all images will be imported.
