Deleted custom panels are back on restart
Deleted custom panels are back on restart
There are some Custom panels I can't delete.
Sketch Panel
Sketch Panel Red
Sketch Panel RGB
When I delete them they seem to be gone, but they're back after a restart.

Re: Deleted custom panels are back on restart
yes, the inbuilt Custom Panels located in the default config are protected for definitive deleting,
so if one deletes it by inadvertence, he'll be able to restaure it just by a quit + re-launch.

Go train 50 students who touch everything and you will understand how useful this option is
Re: Deleted custom panels are back on restart
On windows I can delete these Custom panels for ever by removing them from
"C:\Program Files (x86)\TVPaint Developpement\TVPaint Animation 10 Pro (32bits) (BETA)\plugins"
there must be something similar on mac

Yes, it's in the User's Library.
Re: Deleted custom panels are back on restart
I don't have a folder there called 'Plugins', there is one named 'CustomPanel', but it's full with files like '0b3ae7b9-72cc-4975-9296-733679554ebe.dip'
Is that the right folder? How do I know which files to delete?

Re: Deleted custom panels are back on restart
Oops, sorry.
Try to make a right click on TVPaint in your application folder, then select "open package". You should find a folder "ressource", where you'll find plugins, then the sketch panel to withdraw
(Keep in mnd this is irreversible : you'll have to reinstall TVPaint if you want to have them back)

I don't erase this stuff, instead I move it to a different folder in case I may need it some day.

Why would you need to delete them ? If you don't want them visible just switch them off (deselect) in the Custom Panels .
Or throw them in the side dock , minimize , and forget about them, but they are still there because maybe some time you will want to get them back ? It's not like these panels are gigantic files that are slowing down your program . What do you gain by deleting them ?
