In / Out points when exporting

Is there a way to save the in/out points of a project?

When exporting it picks the first and last frame of layers, but those aren't always the begin and end of a shot. (when dealing with cycles/holds/etc)

I thought settings Point in and Point out would do it (see image). But it doesn't.

Is there another way?

Oh ok, good to know.

Also, it would be nice if "View" would (if available) standard be set to 'Camera' instead of 'Project'.
