Bug: custom brush forgets it's registration coordinates

TVP 10.0.18
Windows 7
Cintiq 22"

When I cut a custom brush, then flip the Wacom pen to erase, and then flip it back and click Stamp in Place, the cutsom brush forgets it's registration and doesn't stamp in place any more (but pastes in the top left corner of the screen).
I don't remember this behavior in 9.5 on a Mac...
