Magic Number just crashed my TVPaint

Post by Soom »

Totally by accident I have clicked CTRL D on the keyboard, got the Magic Number panel (which I have no idea what it is), and before I realized what happened, I entered number 20 and then number 4 in the next panel. I was typing numbers because I was changing the size of a brush - my actions were so fast and mechanical, that it took just a moment, before I realized I'm in a wrong panel. Anyway - I clicked Enter, and after about 5 seconds TVPaint crashed....

I'm on TVP 10.0.18, Windows

It's a developer's tool when trying out new ideas that are for one reason or another put on hold but not discarded totally. Try 15.

I think it's a CPU test related stuff.
Use this number at your own risks ... :?

In the version 10, we changed the hotkey to the Magic number, because CTRl + D was to easy to find. Now, it's like in Photoshop : it's a hotakey to erase a selection :)

I think I have transfered my shortcuts from TVP 9.5 to TVP 10, when started working in the studio, therefore I have many old shortcuts... But since most hsortcuts are mapped to my Cintiq buttons, I don't care too much for the keyboard, probably thats why those mistakes

yep ^^

The clock was here for many years and once, we thought. "Hey, what could we do with that clock ?"

The stopwatch was created from it :)
