Why not have a setting for users who use the same brushes and key commands all the time...
and when this setting is on 1. All your tools are saved and open with the program
2. All your keyboard shortcuts remain the same all the time and never need to be resaved and exported when \you add new shortcuts.....the new stuff is just permanently saved as hit ok
3 . The program acts as a constant ... so that its there the way you want it all the time...
Big GREAT IDEA for TVP !
Re: Big GREAT IDEA for TVP !
But Debra, if I understood you well, what you are asking for is already included in the software (except if you run a network version : there, the software automatically reset the configuration).
Re: Big GREAT IDEA for TVP !
Hi Elodie- thanks for your note...no i dont think you understood my suggeststion. Right now you have to resave your key commands and your pallets every time you create a tool
or a keycommand ... why? as soon as you create the tool or keycommand it should never just dissappear when the program crashes ...Sometimes developers accept as the gospel what could be updated and made more user friendly. Why do you have to name pallets? As they come up they could just appear named numerically . Having to save every thing you create in the interface should not be neccessary...and what ever the user creates should just stay untill the user deletes it.
I did not understand what you meant by "there, the software automatically reset the configuration)." can you explain?
my best
