Export TVPaint - Import After Effects 1.0.4
Export TVPaint - Import After Effects 1.0.4
I have made to scripts.
One for TVPaint to Export the current clips, in Layers each instance as single PNGs.
And one script for Adobe After Effects for importing the PNGsand keep the different layers.
Download the attached zip archive, unzip it. it contains 2 files
"MJ_AFX_Export_1.0.3.tvpx"
Which is a TVPaint Custom panel for exporting the Clip.
and
"MJ_TVPAINT_IMPORT_1.0.3.jsx"
Which is an Adobe JavaScript for importing the PNGs.
Here Is a screen shot of how the Clip Looks in TVPaint And how it looks after import in After Effects
And here is a podcast og how it works
The scripts has been tested with tvpaint 10.5.7 Proffesional and TVpaint 9.5.18 Proffesional. TVPaint 9.5 will not export Faux Fixe and Layer Pre and Post Behaviour.
and After Effects CS5.5, CS6.0,CC and CC 2014.
The scripts have been tested on Windows 8 and MAC snow Leopard

Re: Export TVPaint - Import After Effects 1.0.3
Does the script screate a folder with the same name as the tvpp file as you try to export in the same directory as the tvpp file?Peter Wassink wrote:i can't get it to work in TVP 10 Pro (10.0.14-64 bits )

If yes Does the script make a folder inside this folder with the name of the clip?
If yes does the script create folders for each layer inside this?
It has maybe something todo with the path and the name of the tvpp file that you try to export. And the name of the clip.
Can you give me
1) the path to the tvpp file
2) the name of the tvpp file
3) the name of the clip

i tried with a differnt TVP version and it does work with this one: TVP version 10 Pro (10.0.17-32 bits)
but in the other version, no folders are created.
1) G:\projecten\Unite 2013 Animations\412 - Student Project
2) 412-StudentProject01.tvpp
3) 412 student
but the thing is these, variables are identical in the working version so it should have to do with the TVP version
