TVPaint Animation 10.0.18.595 Pro DEMO (32-bit) and Windows

I installed TVPaint Animation 10.0.18.595 Pro DEMO (32-bit) on my windows 8 machine and everytime I try to run it, It doesn't open. It doesn't even load the splash image and its not on the taskbar. However, in the task manager... it says that its running.

I installed the same demo on my windows 7 laptop with all the same settings and it works.

is your windows 8: 32 bits or 64 bits ?

I have win 8 64 bit, and just installed the TVpaint 64 bit demo and its super slow so I was wondering if the 32 bit would work better since I have tried installing the 32 bit demo on my win7 64 bit machine and I could just see how much better it performs

Is the painting slow ? Or the playback ?

well im probably just exaggerating, but i could see a slight lag while sketching...

hmmm ....

Is the smoothline parameter activated ?
Are the wacom drivers up-to-date ?
What if you uncheck the wintab parameter in the preferences ?

yeah sad to say that the wacom drivers are up to date and ive played around with the other settings but nothing different. I really just wish that the 32bit version would just work. once I double click on the demo link on my desktop, it doesn't launch anything. not even on the taskbar.... but on the taskmanager, it shows that the exe file is running

That's strange.

I installed both 32 and 64 bits versions of TVP 10.0.18 demo on my Windows 8 bootcamp, and both of them are working correctly...
