Thierry wrote:While I'm working on a fix, you should be able to overcome this bug by clicking on the borders of the windows and resizing it manually. This should force a refresh, thus making the interface reappears.
I will try when I'm at home.
Thierry wrote:When 10.0.18 was released it was indeed buggy, but since then it has been fixed, and a fix was released soon after.
Here are how to download the fix : viewtopic.php?p=60995#p60995 (I assume you still have the "old" version of TVP 10.0.18 and not the most recent one).
I strongly advise you to download it, it will be better for me to assist you if you have the most recent version.
I'm not sure which version I have - I downloaded the trial about a week ago. But I will try the fix as soon as I get home
Thierry wrote:But I see that you managed to open the 32 bits, good to know that it works. However it is very strange that you had permission issues, since Apple's intrusive protection system (the one that blocks anything that hasn't been downloaded from the Store) appeared in 10.8, and you should not have it on 10.6.8
It's strange to mee too - it is only this specific DMG file that couldn't be open by double clicking it, only through Disk Utility
Thierry wrote:Let me know if you still have issues after downloading the latest 10.0.18 version of TVPaint :)
I definitely will - thanks for the concern!

Just installed a brand new TVP 10.0.18 64 bit on my 10.6.8. Starts normal, works, BUT ...

- when I click the red window button (resize/maximize) the whole program window turns grey.
- Minimizing and opening again seemed to work first,
- moving the cursor over the grey re-draws some areas,
- minimizing this doesn't change anything,
- grabbing the bottom right corner to resize forces a re-draw of the whole window.

This is an out-of-the-box install.

Thanks for the feedback - that's exactly what happens here too!

Thank you, there's definitely something wrong with 10.6.8, I'll look into it.

It may be related to the glitch that imported images are only displayed with their left half - have to move the cursor over it or resize view to see all.

Ah, now it gets funny (not!):

I worked with 10.0.18 32, then made that window invisible. When returning to TVP, its window was shifted up so the top of the window is behind the Mac menu bar. And I can't get it back to the correct position!

I restarted TVP with default config, that got the position right. Starting again with my own configuration was back to the wrong window position.

Is there a way to change the window position without editing the default config from scratch?

EDIT: RESOLVED!
For all with the same problem: quit TVP, set the monitor resolution to something smaller, start TVP - the program window will be placed correctly - and quit TVP again, reset monitor resolution to correct values, star TVP - voila.

Should be fixed.

Fixed.

These fixes will be present for the release of TVPaint Animation 10.5, so in the meantime, you will need to force a refresh by grabbing the bottom right corner.

Aparently there is no update for a trial version, so I cannot test that...

Looks like this works, but I will test it later on Cintiq also

Yes, you're right, we just released the normal version, we didn't release the demo version with the fix.
