Is it possible to assign hotkeys to Brush Angle?

Post by Soom »

I know I can use the Rotation handle, but it would be nice if I could just rotate the brush by a set increment -for example by 1 degree, so if I need to stamp lot's if times with changed angle, I could do it faster just by clicking hotkeys...

If you can make a script to rotate the image, you can add that script in the Custom Panels and assign a hotkey to it.

It had to be confirmed by a developer

Or you can also use the hot key "slash" [ / ] on the key pad. It will rotate your custom brush 0.5 by 0.5 degree on every time you press the key.

Ok, this is really weird: unfortunately I have changed the assignment of / to another function, so it doesn't work anymore. But when I click the * button next to it, the brush does rotate to the right side. This is great! so I went to the Shortcuts list to see what function is assigned to it, so that I can assign another key for the other direction too. I was really surprised to see "Tools Brush: Increase Size 2" which has nothing to do with rotation.... I have tried to assign "Tools Brush: Decrease Size 2" and even more weird - it also started rotating to the same right direction... something is wrong here
